Yes, it's true...I did not give up...and we now have a fabulous loft in a cool part of town! It is just a couple subway stops from the hippest area of Williamsburg and one more stop into the east village! We are closer to the parts of town we love most, yet sort-of- on the outskirts in a more industrial area. Since childhood, my hubby and I have always loved the idea of living in a loft, with a loft bed, freight elevator and an old warehouse! Now we do! Is that funny? Maybe we were inspired by the film "Big" or all those other movies where people had freight elevators going up to an apartment/painting studio or something in some weird part of town. So, we are living our movie haha...and it's fun. Our loft is big compared to NYC standards, but still half the size of our home back in FL. The ceilings are about 20 ft high and from our window we can see the NYC skyline...Empire State building and all. How did I get so stressed about finding a place, and worry...when now I see God was saving the best for last. At the last minute He always seems to supply us with exactly what we need. How could I have ever doubted. He is our provider...even in the little desires of our heart. How well he knows us! I mean, that He cares about lofts, and freight elevators and silly little desires like that........thank you God for this gift.......(insert little teardrop here).....
